In order to achieve sustainability objectives, the entire process must be made transparent. We understand that this is necessary and that is why customers now have direct insight into the CO2 emissions of all their transport activities. This innovative addition empowers customers to make informed decisions through data analytics.
With this feature we hope to support our customers in their pursuit of green and sustainable solutions. We work together with partners for the integration. Our partner is audited and accredited by Smart Freight Center, according to the GLEC framework and in accordance with ISO 14083. By working together, we increase our positive impact and contribute to a sustainable future!
At the moment, transport is still associated with CO2 emissions. VSL sees this as the first step. But that is not everything! VSL has also been committed to the One Tree Planted initiative for many years. For every container transported by VSL, we offer our customers the opportunity to plant a tree donated by VSL for each container booked. In this way, VSL tries to be active by contributing to the sustainability of our planet and the compensation of CO2 emissions associated with transport activities.
